Liturgical Chant

Orthodox Christians use no instruments in their worship, only the human voice that was created by God for glorifying him. At Saint Elizabeth Church we are blessed to have an extraordinarily gifted choir director and a wonderful choir to lead us in our praise of God.

Below, you can find a few samples of our singing. Among them, you can enjoy one of the Orthodox Church's most beautiful liturgical hymns, the Canon for Holy Saturday. It was sung by our choir at the end of Passion Week.
