Saint Elizabeth Orthodox Church

Regrettably unknown to many in our American culture today, the life of the Orthodox Church has been carried through the centuries since the time of Christ by those who have dedicated their lives to dignifying and sanctifying our world—the Saints.

This summer, please join us for the second annual Summer with the Saints lecture series by Father John Strickland—rector at St. Elizabeth parish and scholar of Church history—on the lives of these incredible men and women, how they provide inspiration for us today in our modern world, and how they continue to sanctify our world through the life of Jesus Christ.

This year’s schedule of topics is posted below. Lectures will be held every other Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Orthodox Church, just north of Poulsbo off Highway 3. The Saints featured in this series are among those now depicted in the newly completed iconographical program on the ceiling of St. Elizabeth parish.
